Manhattan Center 311 West 34th Street New York, New York, 10001

Closing in on its 100th anniversary, the Manhattan Center building was originally called the Manhattan Opera House and was built by Oscar Hammerstein in 1906. After undergoing a series of ownership changes, the Manhattan Center emerged as one of the premier recording and performing facilities in the world. The facility has hosted a variety of major entertainers from Perry Como to The Grateful Dead to Bob Marley. If you want Manhattan Center tickets, you’ll want to check Gotickets first.

In addition to the recording studios and TV studios, Manhattan Center has two performance venues - the Hammerstein Ballroom with a capacity of 2,500 and the Grand Ballroom, which holds 1,200. The ballrooms have both won acclaim for their acoustics and lighting, and have hosted performers like Dave Matthews and Luciano Pavarotti, as well as theatrical events.
