Named for Helen Hayes, the “First Lady of American Theatre” who received the first Tony Award for Best Actress, this theater was built in 1912 as the Little Theater and not long thereafter was renovated and expanded. It was sold in 1931 to the New York Times and renamed Times Hall. It was used as a conference center then later a radio and TV studio before again returning to its roots as a Broadway show theater in the 1980s.

Running at the Helen Hayes Theatre is Rock of Ages. Rock of Ages debuted in ‘06 in Los Angeles before becoming a Hollywood blockbuster that starred Tobey Maguire and Paul Gimatti. You won’t want to miss this show that features music from legendary 80s bands like Twisted Sister and Bon Jovi.
