Louisville Palace

The Louisville Palace is one of those places that just seems to excel in everything and look good doing it. First of all, it’s a fancy place. Built in the 20’s in Spanish Baroque style, the décor is tastefully over the top. Bright colors abound, there are turrets adorning the exterior, and inside you’ll find vaulted ceilings and intricate carvings on the walls, including over 100 sculptures of famous figures in history. You’ll also find a seating in the Louisville Palace that can hold 2,700 people.

Originally built as a movie theater the Louisville Palace stills fills the seats with cinema. But you’re also just as likely to be in the seats for a Broadway style show, a production of the Louisville Orchestra, or a concert by a modern recording artist. Head bangers like Queensryche love the place as much as country artists like Ashley Judd and classical artists of all types. Over the years the Louisville Palace has retained its iconic appeal while evolving into a multi-use facility almost effortlessly.

Seating is divided into orchestra seats directly in front of the stage or the ever popular balcony seating. But with only 2,700 seats available it’s obvious that tickets to The Palace, as its known locally, are favorites around Louisville when the big names hit town. When that happens, let GoTickets put you on the inside track to fantastic seats for any event in the Louisville Palace.
