Owned by Live Nation, the venue, which was up for sale during the 2007 season, is still going strong, and Live Nation is committed to this ranked stadium. Ranked 5th in ticket sales for the 2006 season, Verizon Wireless Music Center offers its audiences the experiences they desire from VIP box seating to affordable family fun on the lawn. Previous entertainment has included Ozzfest,the Greatful Dead, Farm Aid, Lilith Fair, and Lollapalooza. This season is serving Rascal Flatts, Tom Petty, Crue Fest, Jimmy Buffet, the Vans Warps Tour 2008, and much more.
Known to most Hoosiers as Deer Creek Amphitheater, it was scooped up by Live Nation and sponsored by Verizon Wireless. This Indiana amphitheater is now part of a chain of amphitheaters owned by Live Nation and sponsored by Verizon Wireless. Other theaters include Verizon Wireless Amphitheater St. Louis, Verizon Wireless Amphitheater at Encore Park, Verizon Wireless at Virgina Beach Amphitheater, Verizon Wireless Music Center in Alabama; also included are venues in Texas, North Carolina, New Hampshire, and California.

Travel and parking: Not a problem. Last year all traffic was rerouted to offer the best possible routes to Verizon Wireless Music Center. Drop-off and pick-up is also available.
Hotels nearby: You can have your pick of hotels whatever your price range is. The surrounding area offer hotels from a Super8 to a Hilton Inn in downtown Indianapolis. Most hotels are within 30 minutes of the venue.
Camping: Verizon Wireless Music Center campground will be open during the 2008 season. The campground openings and closings are posted according to concerts. Prices for camping range from $60 to $80 per vehicle. Registration and payment can be done online.
Venue Perks: Verizon Wireless Music Center now allows bottles of water and food to be brought in small see-through bags or small collapsible coolers. Small cameras are also allowed.
