The Cadillac Palace Theatre has been modified for many uses over its long history and has recently been restored to its original beauty. Opened in 1926 as a vaudeville venue that presented stars like Bob Hope, Jack Benny, Jimmy Durante and Mae West, the Palace was later transformed into a move house, then a banquet hall, a rock venue (with a new name of the Bismarck Theatre) and finally back to a performing arts venue and one of the four theaters operated by Broadway in Chicago. The Palace Theatre’s sister venues are the Ford Center for the Performing Arts (Oriental Theatre), LaSalle Bank Theatre (formerly the Shubert Theatre) and Auditorium Theatre. GoTickets has the best Broadway in Chicago tickets and Cadillac Palace Theatre tickets.
Since becoming a Broadway show theater, the Palace has presented The Producers, Mamma Mia and now the long-running hit Disney’s The Lion King, which first came to the Palace Theatre in ‘03 for a nine-month sold out run and is back again with tickets still going fast. If you need The Lion King tickets, check with GoTickets first.
Coming later in the season to the Place Theatre is Doctor Dolittle and 700 Sundays starring Billy Crystal. Tickets for both of these shows also figure to be in hot demand, so rely on GoTickets for all your Cadillac Palace Theater tickets, Doctor Dolittle tickets, 700 Sundays tickets and Chicago Broadway show tickets.
