Events at Idaho Center
The Idaho Center has a lot going for it. First of all there’s location. Seating in this venue is tops on everyone’s list simply because it draws in so many great performances. Sitting smack in the middle of Salt Lake City, Seattle, Portland, and Reno, the Idaho Center is a major draw to big name acts touring the country. Surrounded by literally millions of people, it’s small wonder that seats in the Idaho Center go quickly.
Secondly, the Idaho Center has four facilities capable of hosting almost any type of event. There’s the Arena which seats up to 12,000 for concerts and shows but can also be reduced to as few as 2,500, making theater productions more enjoyable. The Amphitheater is also a favorite for concerts. Bob Dylan played here, as well as Journey, Tim McGraw, and a long list of others. In the Amphitheater you’ll find not only reserved seating in the stands, but also general admission seating on the grass in front of the stage.
Being in the West, the Idaho Center also sports the Idaho Horse Park, a great place to catch not only rodeo, but the refinement of English Riding. Finally, there’s the Sports Center, home to the track team of Boise State, and host of the Western Athletic Conference Championships as well as the Mountain Pacific Indoor Sports Championship.
With so much going on and so many different venues it’s easy to see why seats at the Idaho Center are so popular. It’s a full time job just to keep up with everything going on here. But we do it, and we do it so you’ll always have great seats for any event in the Idaho Center.
