The ‘12-‘13 season was a breakout one for the Golden State Warriors. Led by one of the most talented back courts in the history of the NBA, the Warriors were a dominant force in the Western Conference. Golden State finished 47-35, 6th overall in the Western Conference. The Warriors really left their mark in the NBA Playoffs. Following a very respectable regular season, the Warriors really turned things on when the playoffs begin in late April.

In round one, Golden State squared off with the Denver Nuggets. The Warriors were able to take down George Karl’s squad in six games. Steph Curry had some incredible offensive performances scoring 30 points in Game 2, 29 in Game 3, and 31 in Game 4. Golden State advanced to the Conference Semifinals where they met Tim Duncan and the San Antonio Spurs. The Warriors put up a great fight but were unable to take down the veteran Spurs team, falling in six games. Steph Curry continued to impress, however, scoring as many as 44 points (Game 1). The Warriors will be focused to return to the playoffs again this season and with plenty more experience under their collective belt, they will not be intimidated.
