Auburn University and the Auburn Tigers men’s basketball team are proud to begin their 107th season on the hardwood. Although some may consider the basketball team a second fiddle to the football program, don’t tell that to the experienced team led by head coach Tony Barbee. The starting five for next season on the Auburn Tigers roster, all juniors and seniors, expect to make a bid for the SEC crown and bounce back from the mediocrity of a 15-16 record from last year. Their 14-3 home record at Beard-Eaves Memorial Coliseum is nothing to scoff at, but a road record of 1-10 is where the work needs to begin. In winning the SEC Tournament only once in their history, the Tigers want to make history when they use their experience and talent to shock the newly enlarged conference and make a bid for the NCAA Tournament. Having the home court advantage is obviously an advantage to the Tigers team, as shown by their record at home. That is due in part to the 10,500 seat Beard-Eaves-Memorial Coliseum, which is a classic example of what a college basketball arena is supposed to be. You can experience it for yourself with Auburn Tigers basketball tickets for any game on the Auburn Tigers schedule this season.

Moving forward is a priority for the team, coaches, and fans of Auburn’s basketball team and will make Auburn basketball tickets hot this season. The only past history that they want to remember are the achievements of past Auburn Tigers roster members such as Chuck Person and the great Charles Barkley, both of which went on to successful careers in the NBA. With the new members joining the SEC and a new format allows each SEC team a home and away game with their main rival, Auburn fans see this as a way to defeat Alabama twice in the same regular season. They might even get another chance in the SEC Tournament. GoTickets is the place to get your Auburn Tigers tickets.
