The Clemson Tigers basketball team recorded a bit of history last season as they made it to the NCAA Tournament for the fourth straight year. That marks the first time that has ever happened in the long history of Clemson basketball, and now head coach Brad Brownell will be looking to make more history with a deeper run into the tourney this season. The Tigers finished with a very respectable 22-12 record last season with a 9-7 mark in the ACC, which was good for fourth in the conference. This appears to be a team that is just on the brink of making a breakthrough to becoming a legitimate contender for the Final Four. While that might sound overly optimistic, consider that the Tigers took the North Carolina Tar Heels to overtime in the ACC Tournament and gave the Duke Blue Devils a tough game in Durham last season. And the Tigers were very tough to beat at home at Littlejohn Coliseum, so this could be a special season. Get your Clemson Tigers basketball tickets from GoTickets so that you can be a part of the excitement.

Brownell took over the program last season from Oliver Purnell, who moved on to DePaul after seven strong seasons at Clemson where he took the Tigers to at least 20 wins in four consecutive times. Of course Purnell’s first year at DePaul didn’t turn out so well as the Blue Demons went a dreadful 7-24 overall and 1-17 in the Big East Conference. But the Tigers did just fine in Brownell’s first season, and they will be looking for more this time around. Although Brownell might not be well known on the national scene, he really turned around the programs at UNC Wilmington and Wright State before coming to South Carolina. Now he’s looking to turn the Tigers into a contender for the ACC title. You can be there to see it happen with Clemson basketball tickets.

The Clemson Tigers basketball schedule of course will include some tough ACC games against Duke, North Carolina, Florida State and the rest of the conference. Because the Tigers have one of the smaller arenas in the conference with a capacity of just over 10,000, that means Clemson basketball tickets can be tough to find for the big games. But you can always get great Clemson tickets at GoTickets, even for sold out games.
