Reunion Arena in Dallas was home to the Dallas Mavericks of the NBA and the Dallas Stars of the NHL before both teams moved into the new American Airlines Center.
Reunion Arena hosted the 1986 NCAA Final Four that saw Louisville defeated Duke. The Dallas Stars won the 1999 Stanley Cup on the road in Buffalo, but they brought the trophy home to Dallas for a parade ending back at Reunion Arena. Major acts like [Paul McCartney] have also played Reunion Arena.
