The Tribeca Performing Arts Center, located on the campus of the Borough of Manhattan Community College, was founded in 1983 and features a variety of arts from theater to music to dance. The center consists of two venues, one theater with seating for 913 and a second with a capacity of 262. And for those non-New Yorkers, Tribeca is short for “Triangle Below Canal (Street).”
