Studio 54 is now the permanent home for the Roundabout Theatre Company. Opened in 1927 as the Gallo Opera House, Studio 54 is best known as the swanky nightclub of the ’70s and ’80s. Now that disco is dead, Studio 54 has been transformed into one of New York City’s top theater venues. Studio 54 just wrapped up a successful production of A Streetcar Named Desire, and a new show should be coming soon.
