Events at Randall Island
Randall’s Island is an outdoor concert venue located, not surprising, on Randall’s Island between the East and Harlem Rivers. Originally used for farming and then as a quarantine area for smallpox victims in the 1800s, the island is now home to the Ichan Track and Field Stadium and several smaller sports facilities. Among those that have performed on Randall’s Island are Jimi Hendrix and Pearl Jam.
