Palace Theatre - Albany 19 Clinton Ave. Albany, New York 12207 Capacity: 2,844
When the Palace Theatre was built in 1931, it was the largest movie house in Albany and today it remains the only survivor of that era. The Palace has undergone numerous renovations since opening while still maintaining a link to its historic past. A new marquee has been installed that is a full-color replica of the 1931 original. The theater no longer shows movies, but it has become one of the top concert and entertainment venues in upstate New York.
The Palace Theatre is home to the Albany Symphony Orchestra and also hosts comedy events and concerts. Upcoming shows include Lewis Black, Celtic Woman and VH1 Classic presents Rock Never Stops with Cinderella, RATT, Quiet Riot and Fire House. Get your Palace Theatre tickets at Gotickets.
The long history of the Palace Theatre includes an impressive list of past performers like Aerosmith, Phil Collins, Bruce Springsteen, Rush and AC/DC, plus The Rolling Stones played there in 1965 during their first U.S. tour. If you need Palace Theater tickets, check with Gotickets first.
