The Minskoff Theater, which opened in 1973, sits on the third floor of the 55-story One Astor Plaza, which used to be the old Astor Hotel. With 1,621 seats, the Minskoff is one of the largest Broadway venues and is now playing Fidder on the Roof.
Fiddler on the Roof was the winner of the 1965 Tony Award for Best Musical and the ‘04 renewal was a Tony Award nominee for Best Musical Revival and also earned three other nominations.
