Madison Square Garden 4 Pennsylvania Plaza New York, New York 10001 Capacity: 22,000

Simply known to many as “The Garden,” Madison Square Garden might be the most famous arena in the world. Everyone who’s anyone has played at The Garden - Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Luciano Pavarotti, Michael Jackson and Bruce Springsteen just to name a few.

Madison Square Garden has also hosted the Democratic National Convention, Republican National Convention (luckily not in the same year), a visit by Pope John Paul II and the famous 1971 battle in which Joe Frazier defeated Muhammad Ali.

The history of Madison Square Garden can be traced back well over 100 years, including North America’s first artificial ice rink in 1879 and the first indoor professional football game in 1902 (and you thought the Arena Football League was first).

The current building known as Madison Square Garden opened in 1968 and is home to the New York Rangers, New York Knicks, world-class professional boxing and top-notch concerts. If you need Rangers tickets, Knicks tickets, MSG boxing tickets or any Madison Square Garden tickets, Gotickets is your best source.

MSG has been home to many championship teams, including the four-time Stanley Cup winning Rangers, whose recent greats include Wayne Gretzky and Mark Messier. The Knicks have won the NBA title twice in 1969 and 1972.

The Garden is also home to the NIT basketball tournament and many other college basketball games each year, plus the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus and the Harlem Globetrotters.

Upcoming events this year include Oasis, Neil Diamond, Coldplay, The Rolling Stones, Elton John, Paul McCartney and U2.

There’s nothing like seeing a big sporting event or major concert at Madison Square Garden, but you are going to need help getting MSG tickets, so rely on Gotickets for all your Madison Square Garden tickets, New York Rangers tickets, New York Knicks tickets and just about any other ticket you need.
