The Brooklyn Dodgers left New York in 1957 and it took 44 years for the borough to get another team. This time it’s the Brooklyn Cyclones, a minor league affiliate of the New York Mets. Located just a few blocks from Coney Island’s Astroland (with the famous Cyclone roller coaster) and overlooking the ocean, KeySpan Park is home to the Brooklyn Cyclones and sits on the same site of the Steeplechase Park, one of the old Coney Island amusement parks.
