The Booth Theater, built in 1913, was designed by Henry Herts, who also designed the Shubert Theater, and was named for Edwin Booth, a 19th century actor.
The Booth Theater is currently home to The Pillowman, a winner of two 2005 Tony Awards in addition to Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards. The cast features Jeff Goldblum, whose impressive film credentials include The Fly and Jurassic Park, and also acclaim as a Broadway actor. Other stars of The Pillowman include Billy Crudup, Zeljko Ivanek and Michael Stuhlbarg.
The New York Times called The Pillowman “the season’s most exciting and original new play” and the Daily News called it “wickedly funny.” You don’t want to miss this comedy-drama, so you need to get your Booth Theater tickets and Pillowman Broadway tickets from Gotickets.
