Gillette Stadium One Patriot Place Foxborough, MA 02035 Capacity: 68,756

The New England Patriots have called a lot of places home since their inception in 1960. They played on the campuses of Boston University, Boston College and Harvard as well as Fenway Park before getting a home of their own in 1971. That home, Foxboro Stadium, was good to them over the years, but it’s unlikely to be remembered as fondly as the team’s current venue. Gillette Stadium, while only in its fourth season of existence, has made quite an impression.

The stadium could hardly have enjoyed a more auspicious opening night. Launching their 2002 season on Monday Night Football, the Patriots hoisted the Super Bowl banner from the previous season and went on to defeat Pittsburgh, 30-14. Patriots fans have grown accustomed to heroics from quarterback Tom Brady and company. The team has won three of the past four Super Bowls and is likely to contend for another championship in 2005. Most of the players responsible for last season’s National Football League crown are back. That should make Patriots tickets exceptionally hard to find, especially with home games coming up against Oakland (Sept. 8), San Diego (Oct. 2), Indianapolis (Nov. 7) and the New York Jets (Dec. 4). Get your New England Patriots tickets, Oakland Raiders tickets, San Diego Chargers tickets Indianapolis Colts tickets,, New York Jets tickets and other NFL tickets at Gotickets.

The Colts’ visit to Gillette Stadium will rekindle memories of New England’s playoff clampdowns in 2003 and 2004. The two teams faced off in the AFC title game two years ago, with New England prevailing, 24-14. Last year, they met in a divisional game, and again the Patriots romped, 20-3. Peyton Manning will be looking to avenge those losses this time around, but a talented New England defense and an always-hostile home crowd will be working against him. You can help welcome Manning back to Foxborough by visiting Gotickets for your Gillette Stadium tickets.

The Patriots aren’t Gillette Stadium’s only tenants. The first game in the stadium’s brief history took place in May 2002 when the New England Revolution of Major League Soccer played the Dallas Burn. You can find New England Revolution tickets, MLS tickets and other soccer tickets at Gotickets.

In addition, the stadium is a superb concert venue. Kenny Chesney will headline the New England Country Music Festival July 23 with Keith Urban, Gretchen Wilson and others supporting him. On Sept. 3, Green Day comes to Foxborough. Gotickets is your source for Green Day tickets, Kenny Chesney tickets and other concert tickets.

Gillette Stadium was designed to be an attraction in itself. At the Bank of America Gate can be found a postmodern lighthouse and bridge, symbols of the region’s colonial heritage. The bridge is functional, connecting the east and west concourses and giving fans a unique perspective on the game. There is also a granite map made of stone from each of the six states that comprise New England.

But the main attraction is the Patriots. They’ve drawn 115 consecutive sellouts and are sure to keep that streak alive in 2005. But no matter how scarce Patriots tickets may seem, you have a source. Gotickets can get you inside one of the most exciting venues in the country.
