Events at Mark of the Quad Cities
The MARK of the Quad Cities features a first-class, 12,000-seat arena and a large theater that can hold anywhere between 3,000 and 6,000 depending on the configuration. The MARK has hosted more than 4,000 events since opening in 1993 and it has been awarded the “Arena of the Year” title (7,000-13,000 seats) by Performance magazine four times. The arena is home to the Quad City Mallards of the United Hockey League (UHL), who are affiliated with the Washington Capitals, Atlanta Thrashers and Colorado Avalanche of the NHL. The arena is also home to the Quad City Steamwheelers of ArenaFootball 2. And if you are curious, the Quad Cities are Davenport and Bettendorf in Iowa and Rock Island and Moline/East Moline in Illinois (although technically that could be five cities, apparently Quint Cities didn’t sound as good).
