Allstate Arena, formerly the Rosemont Horizon, opened in 1980 and underwent a $20 million renovation in 1999-2000. The 19,000-seat arena features a busy schedule of more than 150 events each year and serves as the home of the Chicago Wolves, the affiliate of the Atlanta Thrashers playing in the International Hockey League (IHL), the Chicago Rush of the Arena Football League (AFL), and DePaul Blue Demons basketball. The arena also hosted the first-ever WWF (now WWE) pay-per-view event, The Wrestling Classic, won by the Junkyard Dog.
