Not many arenas can lay claim to five professional sports teams, but the Staples Center can as the home of the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers of the NBA, the Los Angeles Kings of the NHL, the Los Angeles Sparks of the WNBA and the Los Angeles Avenges of the AFL (Arena Football League). The $330-million facility, which seats nearly 20,000, opened in 1999 to replace the aging L.A. Forum. If you want the best Staples Center tickets, check with GoTickets first.

The top dog among the five teams at the Staples Center is clearly the Lakers, who earned three of their 14 NBA titles while playing at the arena. Of course those championship teams featured Shaquille O’Neal, who has moved on to the Miami Heat, but the Lakers still have superstar Kobe Bryant and are starting to rebuild around him. Coach Phil Jackson is back in town for the season and the Lakers have acquired Kwame Brown to help get the team back on track. If you want the best Lakers tickets (the kind where you’ll be able to see Jack Nicholson courtside) then you need to go with GoTickets. And if you really want to experience a Lakers game or other Staples Center event in style, then you need to be in one of the arena’s 160 luxury suites complete with a private entrance, satellite TV and gourmet food. Get your Staples Center luxury suite tickets from GoTickets.

When the Lakers are not on the court, the city’s other NBA team, the Clippers, play at Staples Center. Although the Clippers are overshadowed by the Lakers, they are an improving team and will have several big home games against Kevin Garnett and the Minnesota Timberwolves, Tim Duncan and the world champion San Antonio Spurs and Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Get your Clippers tickets from GoTickets.

Now that the NHL is back on the ice, the L.A. Kings will be back playing at Staples Center and GoTickets has the best Los Angeles Kings tickets available.

In addition to sports, Staples Center will feature upcoming concerts like Destiny’s Child, the Eagles, American Idols Live, Neil Diamond, U2 and Paul McCartney. If you need tickets to concerts at the Staples Center, go with GoTickets.

And be on the lookout for tickets for the new downtown stadium in LA, and future home of an NFL franchise, Farmers Field. Construction has not started, so a Farmers Field seating chart is not yet available, but you can bet that NFL tickets in Los Angeles will be a prized commodity.
