The new $103 million Save Mart Center at Fresno State opened in ‘03 and has quickly become on the area’s top sports and entertainment venues. The arena, which can seat approximately 16,000 spectators, is home to the Fresno State Bulldogs basketball team and a variety of other events. The Save Mart Center is also home to the Fresno Falcons of the ECHL, one of the best minor league hockey associations, and the ‘06 ECHL All-Star Game will be held at the arena.
