The Los Angeles Tennis Center, which features a 5,800-seat grandstand and a total capacity of 10,000, was completed just in time to host the tennis events during the 1984 Summer Olympics. The center now serves as the home of the UCLA men’s and women’s tennis teams (Jimmy Connors was a graduate of the UCLA program) as well as the ATP’s Los Angeles Open, which features a list of past winners including Andre Agassi, Pete Sampras, John McEnroe and Jimmy Connors.
