Vancouver Canucks Tickets

The Vancouver Canucks captured the Northwest Division title last season and finished 3rd overall in the Western Conference. In the lockout shortened season, the Canucks finished at 26-15-7. They played the 6-seeded San Jose Sharks in round one of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. This was a rematch of the ‘11 Western Conference Finals, which saw the Canucks defeat San Jose. The same would not be true this season as the Sharks took care of the Canucks in four games, sweeping them out of the playoffs.

Despite a disappointing playoff showing, the Canucks still have plenty to build off of from last season. The Canucks have a very solid core of players that includes Henrik Sedin, Kevin Brieksa, and Ryan Kesler which bodes well for their playoff chances next season. Head coach Alain Vigneault was subsequently fired after the Canucks failed to make it out of the first round of the playoffs for the second straight year. While the Canucks are still on the hunt for their next head coach, hockey fans in Vancouver are hopeful that they can land a big name. With the right man in charge the Canucks could easily challenge for the Stanley Cup next season.
