Wild Ticket Info
The Minnesota Wild are entering their 13th season as a member of the National Hockey League. Last year in Minnesota, the Wild finished 2nd in the Northwest Division and 8th in the Western Conference. After a huge offseason which brought both Zach Parise and Ryan Suter to Minnesota, the Wild had very high expectations going into the lockout shortened 2013 season. Both players were signed to 13-year contracts and expect to be fixtures of the franchise for the better part of the next fifteen years.
The Wild finished just four points behind the Vancouver Canucks for the Northwest Division crown which would prove to be huge heading into the postseason. Had Minnesota been able to capture the Division title they would’ve avoided the league’s best team, the Chicago Blackhawks in the first round. Instead their first round match-up was against Chicago, a series that they would lose in just five games. With such a good nucleus of young players, hockey fans in the Twin Cities certainly have a reason to be excited.
