The St. Louis Blues simply could not stop pulling off amazing feats in the ‘11-‘12 season. They tied the record for the most shutouts by a pair of goalies in National Hockey League history, they had the most consecutive shutout minutes by a goalie in Blues history, they had most home wins in team history, the second most points in team history, the Central Division title and a Cinderella story in goalie Brian Elliott, who went from not even having a secure job to going into the record books with one of the best seasons in ever after putting up an absolutely insane 1.56 goals against average and a .940 save percentage, by far the best in the entire league. That alone is worth the price of buying St. Louis Blues hockey tickets.

The St. Louis Blues roster was seriously mighty throughout the regular season, contending for the President’s Trophy with the Rangers and the Canucks (who eventually won it) and topping perhaps the most competitive division in the league for most of the season. The Blues’ tandem goalie team, with time split between Jaroslav Halak and Elliott, gave up only a paltry 165 goals all season, and no team was safe from the dangerous duo, who toppled every big name team in the league. Included in that list were the Rangers, Flyers, Predators and rivals the Blackhawks. Going into the playoffs, the Blues were one of the heavily favored teams, with three 50+ point scorers in T.J. Oshie, David Backes and Alex Pietrangelo. The St. Louis Blues schedule in the playoffs began well, as the Blues put away the Sharks in just five games; however, the Blues hopes at a nearly perfect season were dashed by the Kings, who swept them in the next series and went on to win the Stanley Cup. You can be there all season long with St. Louis Blues tickets.

Confident in their team’s ability to win, the management has seen to it that holders of St. Louis Blues tickets will see almost exactly the same team in ‘12-‘13 that went so far last year. Scottrade Center sold out frequently last season, and it’s likely to do the same this year, with the Blues attempting to take their successes to an even greater level.
