Back in the early 1980s, there wasn’t any team in the NHL that could keep up with the New York Islanders. Mike Bossy, Billy Smith and Denis Potvin went to the Stanley Cup Finals in five straight seasons, and four times they brought the Cup back to Long Island. Those days became a distant memory as the team rarely made the playoffs in the 1990s and interest in Islanders hockey tickets slipped. But in recent years, new ownership, new management, new uniforms and possibly a new arena to replace the Nassau Coliseum have given local fans hope and Islanders tickets are in demand once again. With the signing of free agent Bill Guerin and a long term contract for goalie Rick DiPietro, this could be a special season for the Islanders.

If you can only see one game on the New York Islanders hockey schedule, make a point to be at Nassau Coliseum when the New York Rangers play. The Rangers-Islanders rivalry is one of the best in the NHL, and Islanders tickets always sell out for those games. But GoTickets.com specializes in sold-out tickets, and we have a great selection of Islanders seats for every game on the schedule.
