Normally a 10-6 record is more than good enough to make it to the NFL playoffs, but last season was a bit abnormal and despite the fact that the Seattle Seahawks made the playoffs in the AFC with a 7-9 record, the New York Giants were left out of the NFC playoff picture at 10-6. Even so, that has to go down as a solid season and certainly the Giants will have a big shot to make the postseason this year. Make sure you are there to be a part of it with NY Giants football tickets from GoTickets.
As always, the highlights of the New York Giants schedule will be the games against their NFC East Division rivals, and those will all come toward the end of the season with three of their last four home games coming against the Washington Redskins, Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles. And if that wasn’t tough enough, the fourth home game in that stretch is against the Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers. But on the plus side, the Giants do sort of get an extra home game this season as they will “visit” New Meadowlands Stadium to play the New York Jets, who will be the home team for the game. Despite that fact, you can count on there being plenty of red and blue in the stands to support the G-Men. The Giants also have a big road game at Gillette Stadium where they will face the New England Patriots for the first time since ending their perfect season in Super Bowl XLII. GoTickets has New York Giants tickets for every game this season, both at home and on the road, and all the way through to the playoffs to the Super Bowl in Indianapolis.
Eli Manning will of course be the focus of the New York Giants roster again this season, and the Giants also got some help for the defense through the NFL Draft with first round pick Prince Amukamara out of Nebraska. Coach Tom Coughlin has taken some heat lately for missing the playoffs in two straight years, but he’s a proven winner and should be able to get this team back on track. So order your New York Giants football tickets now.
Make sure you mark your calendars for February ’14, when the new Meadowlands Stadium will host Super Bowl XLVIII. That will be a truly special event as the first modern Super Bowl to be held in a cold-weather city (not counting Detroit and Minneapolis which have domed stadiums). It’s a little early to get those Super Bowl tickets, but you can bet that GoTickets.com will have them for you.
