The Orlando Magic roster has been riding an impressive wave of success, after making the playoffs for the last six seasons, but this is going to be a different kind of season without star center Dwight Howard. While moving Howard to the Lakers will present some challenges to the Magic, it might help them in the long term as the ongoing drama of his future is now over, and the Magic received some young talent and draft picks to build for the future. You can be a part of that future with Magic basketball tickets.

The Magic has made the playoffs for 14 of the 23 seasons they’ve existed as a team, making them one of the more all-around successful organizations in basketball. However, despite making the playoffs and posting a positive win-loss record last year, the Magic had their least successful season since ‘06-‘07, primarily due to major shakeups in the organization. Orlando was also the host of the NBA All-Star Game last season, and Magic basketball tickets continue to be as hot at the Florida sunshine.

The Magic have all eyes on them this season, as everyone looks to see whether the major changes underway will result in clarification and more success, or short term struggles until their young roster matures. Last year’s Orlando Magic schedule had the team post winning records in every month but April, but the team saw a great deal of up and down throughout the season. Most of this was focused around Dwight Howard, whose status with the team was up in the air all season. Howard led the team in most stat categories over the season and went All-NBA First Team, as well as breaking Wilt Chamberlain’s record for free throw attempts in a game (with 39) and getting the most rebounds in the NBA per game at 14.9. The rest of the team also played well, with five other players having 10+ points per game, and Ryan Anderson winning Most Improved Player for the league. Obviously they have big shoes to fill with the departure of Howard, but they might surprise some teams this season by coming together and winning together. So get your Orlando Magic tickets now.

After losing the first round in the playoffs to a surging Indiana Pacers team, the Magic’s head coach Stan Van Gundy and GM Otis Smith departed, and former OKC GM Rob Hennigan and Spurs assistant coach Jacque Vaughn stepped into the positions. This, combined with a slew of new players in the last year, two skilled draft picks and end of the Dwight Howard era means that holders of Orlando Magic tickets will see a new and exciting team take the floor at Amway Center. Pick up your Magic tickets soon, as the Magic is one of the more popular teams in the NBA.
