Last season was supposed to be a special one for the Orlando Magic. They were coming off of an impressive run to the Eastern Conference Finals the year before and they were opening up the brand new Amway Center, a nearly $500 million arena that replaced the old Amway Arena/Orlando Arena. But some of their thunder got stolen when LeBron James and Chris Bosh joined Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat, who beat out the Magic to capture the Southeast Division title. And then the Magic wilted in the first round of the playoffs to the Atlanta Hawks. And now once again, the Magic are set up for a potentially huge season, as they will host the 2012 NBA All-Star Game, which undoubtedly will feature Orlando’s own Dwight Howard. If you need Orlando Magic tickets or NBA All-Star Game tickets, GoTickets has them for you.

Without a doubt the biggest games on the Orlando Magic schedule will be those against the in-state rival Miami Heat, as they battle for supremacy in the Sunshine State and the Eastern Conference. And while there are a lot of questions about whether Dwight Howard will be on the Orlando Magic roster beyond this season, a deep playoff run to the NBA Finals would likely go a long way to keeping him in Orlando. So show you support for the team with Orlando Magic basketball tickets from GoTickets.

While every NBA team endures injuries, it sure seemed like the Orlando Magic had more than their fair share last season. At different points during the season Jameer Nelson, Vince Carter and Howard were sidelined by an injury, and even though they each only missed a handful of games, it might have been enough to cost them a few notches in the playoff seeding. If they can stay healthy this season it would be no surprise to see them earn one of the top seeds in the playoffs, which would surely help their chances of reaching the NBA Finals. You can cheer them on with Orlando Magic tickets for any game this season at the Amway Center.
