It was only a decade ago at the Sacramento Kings took the Los Angeles Lakers to seven games in a controversial Western Conference Finals. That team has 61 wins during the regular season, and the following year they put up a total of 59 wins. But things have gone south since then, and for the last three seasons the Kings have posted win totals of 17, 25 and 24. When you add to that the uncertainty about whether the team was even going to stay in Sacramento, it’s been a rough few years for Kings fans. The future is still up in the air for this team, and it’s possible that they could become the Anaheim Kings, or even the Anaheim Royals. But for now they are still in California’s capitol city, so make sure you get your Sacramento Kings basketball tickets this season and show your support.
The home portion of the Sacramento Kings schedule will be played at Power Balance Pavilion, but don’t worry that the Kings have moved just yet. It’s still the same arena formerly known as ARCO Arena with a new corporate sponsor. Despite the ongoing rumors about the team moving and their less than stellar performance on the court, the local fans have still remained supportive and continue to buy Kings basketball tickets. When the team was a consistent playoff contender it was virtually impossible to find Kings tickets, especially for big games against the Lakers. But now Sacramento Kings tickets are much more affordable, and GoTickets has a huge variety from which to pick.
This will be head coach Paul Westphal’s third season in Sacramento, and this could be the one in which he gets this franchise turned around. While they are not likely make it to the NBA Finals, they could certainly surprise some teams this season and improve upon their .293 win percentage from last season. Surprisingly the Kings actually had a better record on the road last season, although that mark of 13-28 is not impressive compared to their record of 11-30 at home. But if they can play a bit better in front of the home crowd and steal a few more wins on the road, this team could start creeping back up to .500. Get your Sacramento Kings tickets today.
