Timberwolves head coach Rick Adelman led the team to a 31-51 record last season, which was just 12th in the Western Conference. It was Adelman’s third season in the Twin Cities and the ninth straight season that the TWolves missed the playoffs. Love broke his hand in mid-October and missed the first five weeks of the season. Then in early January Love refractured his hand in a game against the Nuggets. He would not return to the floor following the second injury. Without Love on the floor, the Wolves are a completely different team. Double-double machine Kevin Love is one of the best players in the league and a match-up nightmare. With a healthy Love on the court next season, the Timberwolves should be a much better team.
