Last season, the Boston Celtics were viewed by many as an aging team not capable of contending for another NBA Championship. The skeptics seemed to be correct when the Celtics had a record of just 15-17 at the NBA All-Star Game break. However, led by dynamic point guard Rajon Rondo and the return to form of veterans Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen, Boston had one of the best records in the NBA after the break. They finished 37-27, won the Atlantic Division for the fifth year in a row and earned the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs. After beating the Atlanta Hawks and the Philadelphia 76ers in the first two rounds, the Celtics faced the Miami Heat in what would become one of the most memorable playoff series in recent NBA history. On the verge of competing for their 18th championship in team history, they were finally overcome by injuries to several key players and monster performances from LeBron James, losing the series in seven games. But that series proved the Celts are still contenders, so now is the time to buy Boston Celtics tickets.

The Boston Celtics schedule for the upcoming year will once again feature a full slate of games against the rest of the NBA, including the Miami Heat, Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks, and Philadelphia 76ers. As always, Boston Celtics tickets at the TD Garden figure to be in high demand and GoTickets has them for every game this season, even ones that are sold out and playoff tickets, too!

For this season, the skeptics will no doubt again say that the Celtics are past their prime and not ready to challenge the Heat for supremacy in the Eastern Conference. Yet Garnett and Pierce are still playing at an all-star level, and Rondo has emerged as one of the top point guards in the NBA. Meanwhile Avery Bradley developed into one of the best defenders in the NBA last year. With Bradley and Jeff Green returning to the Boston Celtics roster from injury and with the addition of Jason Terry from the Dallas Mavericks and two exciting first-round picks, the Celtics figure to be one of the top two or three teams in the East, fully capable of unseating the Heat as conference champions. Make sure you see it all with Boston Celtics basketball tickets.
