Cardinals Tickets Info

St. Louis has always been a great baseball town, and the Cardinals are arguably the most successful team in the National League. With a total of 11 World Series titles, only the New York Yankees of the American League have more. And now that the Cardinals have a new Busch Stadium, the sky is the limit for the Redbirds. The Cards went nearly 25 years between titles after winning it all back in ’82, but they had a remarkable season in ’06. After barely winning the NL Central division with a rather ordinary record of 83-78, some Cards fans were skeptical about their playoff chances considering that the team has been knocked out in the two prior seasons despite having more than 100 regular season wins. But the ’06 team showed tremendous heart and character as they rolled through the divisional playoffs and the NLCS before crushing the Detroit Tigers to win another World Series. Thanks in large part to perennial MVP candidate Albert Pujols and future Hall of Fame manager Tony LaRussa, the Cardinals have kept that momentum going and should be right in the thick of things again this season. You can be there to see it all with St. Louis Cardinals baseball tickets.

It’s hard to credit a baseball stadium for playing a major part in a World Series title, but it seems like a strange coincidence that the Cardinals finally got over the hump in their first season at the new Busch Stadium, which is actually the third ballpark with that name. The first one started as Sportman’s Park back in ’20 and then took the Busch Stadium name in ’53 when Anheuser-Busch owned the team. The second Busch Stadium opened in ’66 and lasted until ’06, when the third version replaced it. While the last Busch Stadium was hard to distinguish from many of the other ballparks built around the same time period, the new ballpark is loaded with special features, historical markers and statues. It also has a much better selection of food than its predecessor. It all makes for a great experience at Busch Stadium, and GoTickets.com is ready to help you get there with Cardinals tickets for all the games on the Cardinals schedule. We also have baseball tickets for every regular season game and even Spring Training tickets.
