Just like one of their biggest rivals, the Los Angeles Dodgers, the San Francisco Giants started way back in 1883 and then moved from New York to California in ’58. The owners of both New York teams felt unappreciated at the time, and both the Giants and Dodgers were having trouble selling tickets. When both teams moved to California, it created an instant rivalry and an explosion in sales of Dodgers and Giants tickets. For their first two years in San Fran, the Giants played at old Seals Stadium until Candlestick Park was completed. For nearly 40 years, the Giants called Candlestick home and then they moved into Pacific Bell Park, which was later called SBC Park and now AT&T Park. As one of the most popular “retro” parks ever built, AT&T Park has numerous unique features, including its location on the San Francisco Bay. Beyond the right field wall is McCovey Cove, named after legendary former Giant. In the history of the ballpark, less than 100 balls have splashed into McCovey Cove, and not surprisingly most of them came off the bat of slugger Barry Bonds. It’s not uncommon to see an armada of kayaks, canoes and other floating objects in the bay waiting to catch a home run ball. But that doesn’t make for a very good view of the game, so you are better off getting San Francisco Giants tickets from GoTickets.com. We have baseball tickets for every game on the Giants home schedule, as well as every other Major League Baseball team.

Although Barry Bonds is no longer on the Giants roster, the team’s pitching staff featuring Barry Zito and Tim Lincecum always gives them a chance to win and has helped put the Giants back in the playoff picture. Lincecum is the two-time reigning Cy Young Award winner and Zito won the award in ’02 as a member of the Oakland A's. It wasn’t that long ago that the Giants made it to the World Series, so a return trip to the Fall Classic is not out of the question. Get your San Francisco Giants baseball tickets today. GoTickets.com has the best selection of AT&T Park seats at the best prices.
