The history of professional baseball goes back well over a century, and during that time rarely has there been a team as consistent as the Atlanta Braves were from 1995-2005. While there is certainly no denying that the Braves were a very strong team when they were winning all of those division titles, part of the reason for their success was the relative weakness of their division.
