Super Bowl tickets and World Series tickets are always tough to find, and one might think that Masters tickets don’t fall in the same category, considering the wide open spaces of Augusta National and the fact that there are four days of action, plus practice rounds. But one would be very wrong to think that about Masters tickets. Perhaps more so than any other sporting event in the world, Masters tournament tickets are strictly controlled and unbelievably difficult to find. Consider this - Masters tournament badges and Masters series badges are only sold to members on the patron list, which has a waiting list dating back to 1972. And unlike so many other sporting events that sacrifice tradition for the almighty dollar, the Masters hasn’t so they don’t allow the course to become overcrowded with fans like some other golf tournaments. So don’t bother trying to get on the 35-year waiting list - with just a couple clicks you can get your Masters tickets from Gotickets. Problem solved.
Just a few years ago it looked like Tiger Woods was going to make the Masters his own personal tournament and his wardrobe would be filled with green jackets. And while his total of four Masters victories is impressive, Phil Mickelson has closed the gap and his dominating performance in the 2006 Masters gave him his second title in three years. So when the 2007 Masters rolls around, golf fans can look forward to a memorable battle between Tiger and Lefty, plus Ernie Els, Vijay Singh, John Daly, Retief Goosen and all the stars of the PGA Tour. So get your 2010 Masters tickets for the biggest golf tournament in the world so you can say you were there at Amen Corner to see it all in person.
Gotickets also has Masters practice round tickets available in addition to Masters tournament badges. So mark your calendar for April 8-11, 2010 and head down to Augusta National with your Masters tickets from Gotickets. Gotickets.com is a privately run ticketing agency that is not affiliated with the PGA or the Augusta National Golf Club. We have been in business since 1992 with the Masters being one of our major events each year. We are also part of the Better Business Bureau (can we link to this) as well as the National Association of Ticket Brokers.
Each badge has a serial number and is granted entry for all four days of the tournament (Thursday – Sunday.) Since each badge is used daily you will have to pick up your assigned badge the morning of the day that you have purchased. All pick up information will be sent approximately 2 weeks prior to the event via email. We have a local office that is very convenient and within walking distance to the course. Your badge(s) will be picked the first morning you’re attending the Masters and returned to the same location after play.
Our badges come from patrons that for whatever reason will not be attending the tournament that particular year. Starting the business in 1994, we have many long term clientele that trusts Gotickets.com with their badges. Once the tournament is over the badges are returned these patrons. Unfortunately badges cannot be kept as souvenirs.
Our local office opens at 7am. Gates to Augusta National open at 8am and our office is a short walk from Gate 6. It may be possible to pick up your badges the evening before after 9pm, however, an on-site representative must be called in advance to set up this arrangement.
Augusta National gates open daily at 8am. Tee times vary each day and you should refer to a pairing sheet the evening before you attend the tournament. Typically tee times are earlier on Thursday and Friday and start later on Saturday and Sunday.
Unfortunately we are only able to sell these badges by day and not by round. If the tournament happens to be rained out, we will be unable to offer a refund or replace badges for the next day. Additional badges may be purchased as long as there is availability. Please keep in mind additional badges will be charged at market value and may not be the same price as your original order.
You will see many different styles of dress; there is no dress code for the course. We suggest comfortable shoes, layers. Typically you will mostly find golf attire on the course. We also suggest plenty of sunscreen.
There are bleacher type seating set up at certain holes, however those are on a first come first service basis. You are allowed to bring one soft collapsible chairs per person. Folding arm chairs and rigid type chairs/stools are not allowed. The Augusta National offers official Masters chairs for sale on the course. The cost is approximately $30 and can be kept as a souvenir. Many people get to the course early to set up their chairs on a desired green, walk the course in the morning and come back to their chair in the afternoon. Please make sure that your chair is marked with your name.
Cell phones, beepers and other electronic devices are strictly prohibited on the grounds at all times. Cameras are strictly prohibited on Tournament days. Anyone violating this policy will be subject to removal from the grounds and the permanent loss of their badge as well as the deposit on the badge.
