What a season it was last year for the Texas A&M Aggies. On the plus side, the Aggies entered the season at #8 in the national rankings and for the first time ever they sold out every single game at Kyle Field. When you add in the announcement of the Aggies leaving the Big 12 to join the SEC, it certainly made for some exciting news. Of course the flip side of that is that the Aggies did not quite perform on the field as expected, and even though they did win the Meineke Car Care Bowl of Texas, their 7-6 record was a disappointment and it ended up costing head coach Mike Sherman his job. Now it’s up to new head coach Kevin Sumlin to lead the Texas A&M Aggies roster through their first season in the SEC, so make sure you are there all season long with Texas A&M football tickets from GoTickets.

The Texas A&M Aggies schedule kicks off with what should be an easy home game against McNeese State, and then things get serious in the second week of the season when the Florida Gators come to town for the Aggies’ historic first game as a member of the SEC. The Aggies will also have their annual showdown against the Arkansas Razorbacks in the Southwest Classic, and the highlight of the schedule at Kyle Field will be an October 20 visit from the LSU Tigers. That should be a good test as to whether the Aggies are ready to compete for a spot in the SEC Championship Game, as will the November 10 road game against the Alabama Crimson Tide. Get your Texas A&M Aggies football tickets now.

The one drawback of the Aggies joining the SEC is that the long-running Thanksgiving game against the Texas Longhorns is no more, but perhaps that game will be renewed again at some point in the future. Until that happens, you still have a choice of some great SEC action with Texas A&M football tickets.
