The return of Steve Spurrier to the Southeastern Conference along with the arrival of rising coaches Les Miles at LSU and Urban Meyer at Florida has electrified college football. The excitement will come to a head at December’s 2005 SEC Championship Game, making tickets a hot commodity for the title game annually played at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. Spurrier’s South Carolina Gamecocks haven’t reached the SEC Championship Game in the 21st century, but the “Old Ball Coach” has been known to make a difference. If Spurrier can work his magic at S.C., starving Gamecock fans will be gobbling up SEC Championship Game tickets faster than their new coach got out of Washington D.C., where he spent two seasons as head coach of the Washington Redskins.

After leading Utah to a perfect season and the 2005 [Fiesta Bowl(http://travel.gotickets.com/college-football/fiesta-bowl.php) title, Meyer takes over a Florida program that took a step back after Spurrier left for the NFL. But with an experienced and athletic quarterback in Chris Leak to orchestrate Meyer’s wide-open offensive attack, Gator fans might be the ones snatching up all the SEC Championship Game tickets. And of course, Phillip Fulmer’s Tennessee Volunteers, the favorites to win the SEC’s East Division, will have to be dealt with. The Volunteers’ faithful scooped up 2005 SEC Championship tickets by the thousands, only to be disappointed with a loss to Auburn. If Fulmer has anything to say about it, “Rocky Top Tennessee” will be heard at the Georgia Dome again in this year’s SEC Championship Game.

In the SEC’s West Division, the LSU Tigers, only one year removed from winning the BCS National Championship, appear poised to make a return to the SEC Championship Game. The Tigers rocked Georgia in the 2004 SEC Championship Game on their way to upsetting Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl to win the national title.

Don’t count out defending champion Auburn. Tommy Tuberville rewarded Tiger faithful with a perfect 2004 campaign, which included a 38-28 win over Tennessee in the 2004 SEC Championship game and a 16-13 victory over Virginia Tech in the Sugar Bowl.

2006 SEC Championship tickets will be in high demand whether it’s Spurrier’s Gamecocks, Fulmer’s Volunteers, Meyer’s Gators, Tuberville’s Tigers or Miles’ LSU squad in the match up. The only way to catch the best action in the SEC will be with 2006 SEC Championship tickets.
