Kentucky Wildcats tickets may be the college football tickets that spring a big surprise on the SEC in the 2005 college football season. Coming off a 2-9 campaign in 2004, Wildcats ticket holders are looking for bigger and better things from the Bluegrass Boys in 2005, and Commonwealth Stadium is ready for a swarming mass of fans hungry for college bowl games and eager for a party with the only ticket to get in a Kentucky Wildcats football ticket.

What’s in the air in Lexington? A new offensive coordinator in Joker Philips and Joker may be the wildcard in the Wildcats game plan. Coming from South Carolina, Phillips has had successful coaching stints at Cincinnati, Minnesota, and Notre Dame. While a strong believer in the running game, Phillips is known to throw the ball downfield, and being a Kentucky native, his recruiting strength has things looking up for the Wildcats.

Wildcats ticket holders will be watching strong armed sophomore quarterback Andre Woodson under center. Woodson, 6’-5” 230 pounds, has the gun to hit the downfield target on the fly. That receiver figures to be Keenan Burton on the longer routes, while the sure handed Tommy Cook and Glenn Holt are the Wildcats’ possession receivers. The tight end position is ably filled by Jacob Tamme, who has good hands and good blocking ability. The Wildcats punched the ticket of Florida State offensive line coach Jimmy Heggins to revamp their O-line, and he’s got three solid returning starters to work with.

On defense, the Wildcats will make the transition from a 3-4 to a 4-3 defense that better suits their personnel. The tackle position is solid if not spectacular but there’s plenty enough talent to make SEC opponents stop and think. The secondary is headed up by free safety Marcus McClinton, a big hitter with an eye for the ball.

Kentucky Wildcats tickets give SEC football lovers the chance to see some of the SEC’s elite teams, with Commonwealth Stadium hosting Mississippi State (Oct. 29), the Florida Gators (Sept. 24), and the Auburn Tigers (Nov. 5). Following the Kentucky Wildcats on the road will be a pleasure. Picking up a few South Carolina Gamecocks tickets will get you a chance to see Steve Spurrier’s new team up close, while another good choice could be Sanford Stadium and Georgia Bulldogs tickets on Nov 19.

Kentucky Wildcats tickets are offering a whole new look in the 2005 college football season, a look of growth and promise. A new competitive edge with a revamped offense and a gunslinger of a quarterback bring the Kentucky Wildcats a fighting chance against any team in the SEC. Don’t wait, the only way to be a witness to the new beginning in Lexington is with Kentucky Wildcats tickets.
