Arkansas Razorbacks tickets are an SEC fans ticket to paradise. The Razorbacks charge into the 2005 college football season with new life under an old coach, a new defensive coordinator in Reggie Herring, and a hunger to return to a bowl game. They missed that in 2004, following their 27-14 win over Missouri in the 2003 Independence Bowl. Head coach Houston Nutt is a consistent winner, and the changes he’s making in 2005 are creating a lot of excitement about Arkansas Razorbacks tickets.
Returning quarterback Robert Johnson will be familiar with the I-formation offense Nutt employs, but this year he’ll have more competition for the starting spot. Johnson possesses a strong arm and good legs, but he’ll be pressed for playing time by Cole Barthel, who joined the team in January after a stint with the Atlanta Braves. While Nutt likes to employ running back by committee, De’Arrius Howard figures to be the featured back. Howard punched the Razorbacks ticket for six touchdowns last season while pounding out over 500 yards on the ground. Razorbacks ticket holders will be watching the receiver corps closely, especially Marcus Monk. The 6’6” 224 pound load of a sophomore averaged 15+ yards per catch and half a dozen TD’s in his freshman campaign and should only improve in 2005.
If the Razorbacks fans hope to line up for SEC Championship tickets, the defense will have to jell early, and there are signs that it could be happening. Reggie Herring has stepped in and addressed some immediate weaknesses in the Razorbacks defense. Seeing a need for speed at the linebacker spot, Herring has moved both Desmond Williams and D’Nerian Wrighter in from their safety spots. Pierre Brown goes from outside linebacker to the inside, to take advantage of his aggressive style. Speaking of aggressive styles, Herring has promised a defense that attacks every play, an attitude that should improve the Razorbacks confidence on the field.
SEC tickets are always a good value, but Arkansas Razorbacks tickets promise even better action than most in 2005. Splitting their time between Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville and War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock, the Razorbacks will be playing host to some of the SEC’s elite teams. The highlight of the home schedule should be Auburn on Oct, 15, while the resurgent Mississippi State Bulldogs] will come to call on Nov. 11. On the road, fanatical Hogs fans are snapping up Georgia Bulldogs tickets for the Hogs visit on Oct. 22, but the hottest ticket going is LSU Tigers tickets for the last game of the season in Death Valley on Nov. 26.
Don’t just think about Arkansas Razorbacks tickets. Grab them while they’re still available. The Hogs have their eyes set on the 2005 SEC Championship, and a return to a postseason bowl game is in the cards. Don’t be caught listening to the action on the radio when you can be there in person with Arkansas Razorbacks tickets.
