The Trojans bounced back and made it to the 2006 Rose Bowl, where they defeated Michigan 32-18. In 2007 they ran all over Illinois in the Rose Bowl defeating them 49-17, and last year they took down Penn State in the Rose Bowl in a highly anticipated game 38-24. Trojan fans are hoping that USC will not only make a reappearance in a bowl game for the 2009 season, but many are hoping that the Trojans will walk away with the 2009 BCS National Championship title.
