This year’s GMAC Bowl will be played on January 6, 2008 at Ladd Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Alabama. The game will feature a team from the Mid-American Conference, Bowling Green, against a foe from Conference USA, Tulsa. That has proven to be a great battle in years past, especially in 2001 when Marshall defeated East Carolina in double overtime by a score of 64-61. The amazing part about that game was that Marshall was down 38-6 at one point, but Bryon Leftwich threw for a total of 576 yards to bring the Thundering Herd back.
