For a while the West Virginia football program was stuck in a state of limbo between the Big East and the Big 12 Conference, but now those issues have been resolved and the Mountaineers are ready to tackle the Big 12 this season. While many would argue that the Big 12 is a better football conference than the Big East, there is no doubt that West Virginia will be able to compete for a conference title, especially when you consider the way they destroyed Clemson by a score of 70-33 in last season’s Orange Bowl. That gives them the confidence to jump in to the Big 12 this season, and you can be there to see it happen with West Virginia Mountaineers football tickets from GoTickets.

Head coach Dana Holgorsen inherited a pretty strong West Virginia Mountaineers roster in his first season last year, and the team responded with a solid 10-3 record and a #17 national ranking to end the season. This year’s West Virginia Mountaineers football schedule is compelling and starts off with a home game at Mountaineer Field against Marshall. Then it’s on to FedEx Field, home of the Washington Redskins, where the Mountaineers will take on James Madison. After that West Virginia will welcome Maryland to Morgantown before hosting the Baylor Bears in their first game in the Big 12 Conference. The rest of the home schedule includes games against Kansas State, TCU, Oklahoma and Kansas. Pick out the games you want to see and buy your WVU football tickets today.

Morgantown can be an intimidating place to play, and that will certainly be the case this season as teams from the Big 12 get to experience it for the first time. That should give the Mountaineers an edge, and you can help give them an added boost by cheering them on with West Virginia football tickets from GoTickets.
