Texas Tech football tickets will grant spectators at Jones SBC Stadium with a live look at one of college footballs most prolific offenses. Led by running back Taurean Henderson, the Red Raiders averaged more than 37 points a game and broke numerous NCAA and school records during the 2004 college football season. With head coach Mike Leach calling the shots and an improving defense as insurance, the Red Raiders aren't expected to miss a beat in 2005 and should have Texas Tech fans scrambling for bowl game tickets in December.

To the delight of Red Raider ticket holders, the versatile Henderson returns to lead Texas Tech against a rugged Big 12 Conference schedule. With the Kansas Jayhawks, Kansas State Wildcats, Texas A&M Aggies and Oklahoma Sooners all slated to visit Jones SBC Stadium during the 2005 college football season, Red Raider tickets promise to be in high demand around Lubbock.

For the past three seasons, Texas Tech fans have lined up to buy Red Raiders football tickets to watch Henderson light up the scoreboard at Jones SBC Stadium. He is the only player in the history of the Big 12 Conference to rush for more than 2,000 yards and have at least 1,500 receiving yards. Heading into his senior campaign, Henderson is second on the NCAA All-time list in receptions by a running back with 236.

Along with the chance to see Henderson continue to shatter records, those fans who get Texas Tech football tickets will have the opportunity to see Leach hand over the reigns of his intricate spread attack to a new quarterback. After completing 20 of 26 passes for 237 yards in the Red Raiders Spring Game, senior Cody Hodges is the favorite to get the starting nod from Leach. But a pair of redshirt freshmen, Graham Harrell and Phillip Daugherty, also have to be considered.

2005 Red Raider football tickets will also treat Texas Tech fans to a look at what should be a much-improved defense that features eight-returning starters. The Red Raiders jumped from 106th in total defense in 2003 to 46th last season. Texas Techs defensive progression led to an 8-4 mark and an invitation to the Holiday Bowl.

Nearly 64,000 college football fans bought Holiday Bowl ticket to see Texas Tech take on PAC 10 runner-up, the California Golden Bears. The Red Raiders rewarded their fans who picked up Holiday Bowl tickets and made the trip to San Diego by piling up 597 yards of total offense in a 41-35 upset of the favored Golden Bears. Leach is hoping the momentum built by that victory will help punch the Red Raiders ticket to the Big 12 Championship Game and possibly a berth in a BCS Bowl. Any time the Red Raiders step on the field, the possibilities are endless, which is why college football fans will beat the door down for Texas Tech Red Raiders tickets.
