Bobby Dodd Stadium is the home of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. This year they are fired up and ready to. And it is not without reason. December of 2007 saw the Georgia Tech football program head into a new direction. Former head coach of the successful Navy football team, Paul Johnson, became the new head coach for the Yellow Jackets. Johnson will lead his new team with high expectations in terms of effort and ability. He knows there is plenty of room for progress, but the Yellow Jackets are off to a great start with a 3-1 record so far. They had a 38-7 win against Mississippi State for a total of 500 offensive yards, 5th highest single rushing yard in university history.

Johnson is no stranger to success as he took a failing Navy program to great heights. His record at Navy was 45-29, but it is his overall record of 107-39 that is the most impressive. While the head coach at Georgia Southern, Johnson dominated. With two straight 1-AA National Championships and five consecutive Southern Conference Championships, it is no wonder he won four straight Coach of the Year titles.
