The Arkansas Razorbacks, one of the premier teams in the vaunted SEC, are looking for another successful season in their storied history. For a team that has been invited to almost 30 NCAA Tournaments, the Razorbacks would be disappointed with less than anything less than a deep run into March. Although the team has had struggles in recent years, the history and pride of Razorback basketball cannot be denied. There was a span between ‘88 and ‘01 where they went to the tournament all but one year, winning the national title once and becoming runner up the year after. Second year coach Mike Anderson is expected to lead the team from Fayetteville back to national prominence after being able to guide the team for a full season and use his recruiting skills to improve the Arkansas Razorbacks roster. His successes at Missouri, a new rival in the SEC, are well documented, guiding them to three straight tournament berths and nearly to the NCAA Final Four. Make sure you see what happens this season with Arkansas Razorbacks basketball tickets.

The Razorbacks play in Bud Walton Arena, named after the co-founder of Wal-Mart who put up nearly half of the money to build the new 19,000 seat venue. The stadium boasts that it has more seats in less space than any other like it in the world, making for a perfect atmosphere for a college basketball game. As a matter of fact, the Razorback Nation enjoyed their only national title the year that Bud Walton Arena was first built, making it a very impressive and intimidating location for fellow SEC teams to play. As the SEC just allowed two teams, Texas A&M and Missouri, to join the conference, the new Arkansas Razorbacks schedule will allow the team to play a series of conference games where at least half of the conference will play at Bud Walton Arena, including Coach Anderson’s former team, the Missouri Tigers. These exciting new changes to the conference will no doubt bring a new level of excitement to the Razorbacks great arena. Get your Arkansas Razorbacks tickets now.
