The ups and downs of a college basketball season were pretty dramatic for the Syracuse Orange last year as they started out with a remarkable 18-0 record and got up to #4 in the polls. But they followed that up with a four-game losing streak before snapping out of that with a 66-58 win over #6 Connecticut on the road. And even though the Orangemen ended the regular season with a five-game winning streak, they made an early exit in both the Big East Tournament and the NCAA Tournament. That’s not to say that the 27-8 record and the third place finish in the Big East regular season standings was all for not, but certainly fans were hoping for a better end to the season. You can be sure that legendary coach Jim Boeheim has a strong class of recruits to add to the Syracuse basketball roster, and they should be a NCAA Final Four contender this season. So get your Syracuse basketball tickets before it’s too late.
Of course the Syracuse Orange basketball schedule will feature plenty of tough Big East action as the team will battle foes like Connecticut, Georgetown, Pittsburgh and Notre Dame to name just a few. Syracuse recently set an all-time basketball attendance record at the Carrier Dome as 34,616 fans turned out to watch the Orange pound the Villanova Wildcats by a score of 95-77. It’s possible that Syracuse could set another record this season, and that means Syracuse basketball tickets are going to be in high demand.
Before Jim Boeheim’s career is done, which includes an incredible 35 years at Syracuse, he might end up with the most wins in the history of the sport, as he enters this season with a record of 856-301. Even if he doesn’t catch coach Bobby Knight, Boeheim will surely go down in history as the one of the best ever. You can bet that he wants to add a second national championship before he retires, and you can follow the Orange all the way through the Big East Tournament and NCAA Tournament with Syracuse basketball tickets for any game this season.
