Texas A&M basketball has been one of the most consistent programs in the country over the last five years. Not only have they appeared in five straight NCAA Tournaments, but they are one of only two teams in the country who has won an NCAA Tournament game in each of the last five years. Last year’s team finished the season with a heartbreaking two-point loss to Purdue in the second round of the tourney, and this season they will look to not only extend their streak of NCAA Tournament wins, but will try to make a run at the Sweet Sixteen, Elite Eight, and maybe even the Final Four. You can follow them all the way with Texas A&M tickets from GoTickets.com.
The Texas A&M Aggies roster loses Donald Sloan, last year’s leading scorer, but they are certainly not lacking in talent. With a young team that follows on the heels of departed seniors Sloan, Derrick Roland, and Bryan Davis, the Aggies have plenty of experience in big games and in tough Big 12 action. Texas A&M head coach Mark Turgeon has proven time and again that he can take a young team and turn them into a group of seasoned veterans with plenty of wins under their belts, and this will be the perfect year for him to do this again. Since taking over the head coaching job with the Aggies, Turgeon is 73-31, and his familiarity with the other teams in the Big 12 Conference gives his team an excellent edge. So order your Texas A&M basketball tickets now.
